The Panasonic 16-Channel H.264 Digital Disk Recorder, with UniPhier and H.264 codec, enables real-time high-quality recording (720 x 480) as well as high compression encoding simultaneously. With SD5Link (Super Dynamic 5 Link) and i-VMD (intelligent-Video Motion Detection), the disk recorder provides an optimum surveillance solution for easy search and disk saving, and prevents loss of vital scenes as well.

The DVR features 16 video inputs out of which 8 can be used for coaxial PTZ control. The 16-channel Disk Recorder also allows you to display videos on 2 monitors via the HDMI ports at a resolution up to 1080i (1920 x 1080 pixels) per monitor. The 4 HDD slots at front panel provide easy maintenance without removing the recorder from the mount rack.

On-board slots are provided for SD/SDHC cards. Apart from being convenient for short-term/temporary storage, recording onto SD/SDHC cards also rules out data loss due to network disconnection. The 16-channel disk recorder supports RAID5/6 redundant recording with the optional WJ-HDB601 RAID Board and also allows you to connect up to 4 optional WV-CU650 system controllers by PS data. You can remotely monitor videos via Internet and WV-ASM100 i-Pro Management software that also allows you to search & play recording events and start/stop recording. The 16-channel H.264 Digital Disk Recorder enables up to 8 users to simultaneously connect to the unit via the network.
