The Color LaserJet Pro 4201dn is the Ethernet/USB version of the 4201 series from HP. It's designed for direct connection to a network router or computer. It's a compact color printer made for work teams of 3-10 users printing up to 4000 pages per month. The printer is noted for fast color printing and easy management tools for high-demand environments. Simple shortcuts allow users to complete common tasks with just a touch. The process of adding and updating devices, solutions, and policies is highly simplified.
The resolution is 600 x 600 dpi for black and color prints, and the ISO average print speed is 35 ppm for 8.5 x 11" letter-sized documents. The 4201dn features a 50-sheet multipurpose tray and 250-sheet main tray. Both support up to 8.5 x 14" legal size paper and automatic two-sided (duplex) printing. An optional third tray can be added that holds 250 sheets and supports duplex printing. (The additional tray would increase the size of the printer from a depth of 16.8 to 25", and would add a few inches to the height.) The LaserJet also accepts 15 envelopes. Other features include PANTONE calibration and a 4-line backlit LCD with a rotational dial and push button for menu selection.
